Background:

Coal-to-liquids (CTL) and advanced coal chemical industry developed rapidly in China in 2006. Local and international majors rushed into this field, several large-scaled projects started construction and was going smoothly. Also, many new projects were planned.

However, technical feasibility of projects and potential risk were being argued. China National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) issued regulations to on the industry, and announced a draft of the medium- and long-term plan for the development of China's coal chemical industry.

How will the draft have its effect? How will it influence the industry and related provinces? What will it bring to investors and enterprises?

China Chemical Online (www.chemsino.com), after successfully holding the first conference in 2006, will continue to hold Coal to Liquids and Chemicals Forum China 2007 in Jun. 2007.

Objective:

The conference will provide a platform for government, enterprises and investors to communicate with others.
